Public Sector

  • Strategic valuation of the public finances of Gabon, including audit of petroleum revenues and formulation of recommendations to improve financial performance
  • Evaluation of the Nigerian Power Sector (2001-2004) as part of the Public Expenditure Management and Financial Accountability Review (PEMFAR) on behalf of the World Bank in conjunction with the Federal Ministry of Finance . Involved detailed evaluation of public sector expenditure on the power sector, NEPA/PHCN accounts, and reform institutions and roles
  • Review of recent Power Sector reforms and recommendations on future reforms as part of the Country Economic Memorandum for the World Bank and UK DFID, in conjunction with the Federal Government of Nigeria
  • Sector expert role in the development of the MTSS (medium term sector strategy) for the Ministry of Transport for 2007-9, Ministry of Transportation for 2009-2011 (the scope included detailed strategies for the marine, aviation, roads and railway sectors) and Ministry of Works, Housing & Urban Development for 2010-2012
